Why 2025 Will Be the Year of AI Agents?
Discover the potential for AI agents to revolutionize SEO and digital marketing in 2025. Act now and stand out from the competition!
Why 2025 Will Be The Year of AI Agents?
For SEO experts, digital marketers and those managing brands' digital projects, 2025 will be a watershed year as we witness the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) agents. What are the driving forces behind this exciting development and how can businesses benefit from this transformation? Let's take a look together.
AI Agents: The Future of Digital Marketing
AI Agents are advanced software programs that work independently to achieve specific goals. Unlike traditional AI tools, these agents not only execute commands but can also create their plans, perceive their environment, collect data, make decisions, and learn from their experiences. This has the potential to revolutionize the world of digital marketing and SEO.
Imagine a content marketing agency creating an AI agent to optimize an effective blog post-production process for its clients. This agent can conduct research targeting specific keywords, analyze relevant sources and create detailed content drafts.
AI Agent Example: For example, for an article titled "SEO Trends in 2025", the agent combines trend analysis and market research to provide SEO experts with a quick starting point. When creating each piece of content, the agent considers not only user requirements but also Google's latest SEO guidelines. In this way, the content offers readers value and ranks high in search engine results. AI agents offer more autonomy, tool integration and memory compared to traditional AI tools such as ChatGPT. These features make them a much more powerful solution for digital marketing and SEO.
Why AI Agents will be at the forefront in 2025?
According to Deloitte's 2025 Global Forecasts Report, 25% of businesses using Generative AI (GenAI) are expected to deploy AI agents by 2025, rising to 50% by 2027.
This trend will accelerate as both startups and established industry leaders introduce innovative solutions. AI agents will be built on big language models, offering more flexibility and breadth of use compared to traditional machine learning or deep learning methods.
These developments will allow businesses to gain valuable tools to increase the productivity of their knowledge workers and ensure efficiency in various workflows. Therefore, 2025 will be an important milestone in the adoption of AI agents, and it will be critical for businesses to strategically integrate this technology to gain a competitive advantage.
Revolutionary Advances in AI Models: AI models are becoming more powerful and capable every day. Larger and more advanced models offer better reasoning, sophisticated content creation and the ability to follow complex instructions.
Multiple Models and Specialization: There are now several AI models that specialize in different tasks. OpenAI's GPT excels at strategy development, Claude 3.5 excels at writing compelling text, and Google Gemini excels at big data processing.
The Rise of Multimodal Capabilities: AI models are no longer limited to text. They can process different types of data, such as images, audio and video, offering a wider range of applications.
Expansion of the Agent Ecosystem: Just like mobile app stores, specialized platforms for AI agents are emerging. These platforms enable businesses to easily find and use agents that fit their needs.
Democratization of Agent Creation Tools: Thanks to platforms like Agent.ai, created by Dharmesh Shah, co-founder of HubSpot, even people with no coding knowledge can create their own AI agents. This will accelerate the adoption of AI agents.
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt's Predictions on Artificial Intelligence Agents for 2025Eric Schmidt predicts 2025 as a turning point when artificial intelligence agents become a reality.
Here are the key elements of these predictions:
Development and Deployment of Agents: OpenAI's O1 architecture introduced AI agents that successfully perform tasks, while Anthropic developed tools that demonstrate Claude's computer control capability. Microsoft introduces AI agents adapted to the business environment with "Wave 2". Sam Altman stated that these agents are the next big step in the GPT series.
ChatGPT-like Milestone: Just as ChatGPT changed the perception of language models, agents are expected to transform creative business processes in 2025. According to Schmidt, agents will be able to analyze emails and provide summaries.
Transition from Text to Action: Schmidt predicts an era where users will be able to create applications from artificial intelligence with natural language commands. Tools such as Replit support this vision and aim to make software development accessible to everyone.
Rapid Development: Emphasizing that artificial intelligence in software engineering is advancing rapidly, Schmidt states that the continuous improvement of metrics such as "SWE Bench" supports this situation.
Societal Readiness: Schmidt is concerned that societies are not ready for this rapid change and the widespread use of agents. He emphasizes that this transformation needs to be carefully monitored.
The Role of AI Agents in SEO and Digital MarketingAI agents offer revolutionary solutions for SEO experts and digital marketers:
Automated Content Creation: AI agents can create high-quality, SEO-friendly content in content formats such as blog posts, social media posts, product descriptions and video scripts.
Keyword Research and Competitive Analysis: Able to process large amounts of data, AI agents identify relevant keywords, analyze competitors and track market trends. This provides valuable insights to optimize SEO strategies.
Website Optimization: AI agents can analyze website structure, identify technical SEO issues and make recommendations to improve conversion rates.
Personalized Marketing: By analyzing customer data, they can create personalized marketing campaigns and deliver these campaigns to the right target audiences.

Google CEO: Search Will Fundamentally Change in 2025
Google CEO Sundar Pichai struggled to articulate his concerns about the web ecosystem but emphasized that the search experience will undergo a fundamental transformation in 2025.
In recent weeks, we have discussed in detail the impact of artificial intelligence on the search engine world. Google CEO Sundar Pichai's remarks at the New York Times DealBook Summit further fueled this discussion. In particular, he pointed to the year 2025 and stated that Google Search will "change profoundly". Let's take these words to heart and take a look at what we need to do as SEO experts.
What Pichai Explained and What Pichai Didn't Explain
Looking at Pichai's words, it is clear that he wants to emphasize that Google is a leader in artificial intelligence and search technologies. However, his examples fall short of the clarity and vision expected from a leader. For example, statements like "we're sending traffic to the ecosystem" fail to address the concrete problems that web content creators face. Google's search results, filled with ads and platforms like Reddit, ignore the fact that creators are losing traffic.
At this point, it is important to ask critically: Is Google thinking about the "ecosystem" or trying to protect its revenue models? The prominence of popular but inadequate sources over expert content in search results undermines the basic principles of SEO.
Sundar Pichai's statements suggest that we are on the verge of a major change. But the direction of this change is uncertain. The most important task for SEO experts and managers will be to stay open to innovation and diversify their digital presence in the face of uncertainty. Remember, 2025 is just the beginning. Those who are prepared will win!
Google November 2024 Core Update Completed
Google's November 2024 core update was completed in 24 days. Learn the details of the update, its effects and how to shape your SEO strategies.

Crawl Budget Optimization: Google's Recommendations
Google recommends hosting resources on CDNs or subdomains to save your crawling budget. Don't miss these important details for SEO performance!
The first post of Google's newly launched Crawling December series has been published. This series is an excellent guide for those who want to understand Googlebot's crawling and indexing processes. The first article focuses specifically on managing the crawl budget properly.
Google states that you should host your website's resources (CSS, JavaScript, etc.) on a separate hostname (for example, a CDN or subdomain). This can save your main site's crawl budget and allow your pages to be indexed more efficiently.
It's also important to note that Googlebot keeps resources in its cache for 30 days, which is independent of HTTP cache settings.
What You Can Do?
Host Resources Separately: Offload your main site by using a CDN or subdomain.
Avoid Unnecessary Resources: Aim to use fewer resources so as not to disrupt the user experience.
Don't Block Resources with robots.txt: Blocking critical resources from being crawled can make it difficult for your pages to render and rank correctly.
These recommendations from Google are especially important for modern sites that use complex JavaScript and CSS structures. If you want a healthier site in terms of SEO, be sure to consider these details.
Google's Canonical URL Selection Process: 40 Different Signals
Google uses about 40 different signals for Canonical URL selection. The Rel="canonical" tag and 301 redirects play a critical role in this process. Consistent application of these elements can significantly improve search visibility.
Google's "Search Off the Record" podcast detailed the process used to determine which URL among duplicate pages is selected as the main version. Google considers around 40 different signals in this selection.
Signals in Canonical URL Selection
These signals include factors such as Rel="canonical" tags, 301 redirects, HTTPS priority, sitemaps, internal links and URL length. However, the weight of these signals varies, and Google may use less strong signals when there are conflicting signals.
Best Practices:
Follow these steps to correctly identify your canonical URLs:
Use Rel="canonical" tags correctly.
Include 301 redirects for permanently moved content.
Keep your HTTPS pages accessible and linked. Submit sitemaps with preferred URLs.
Make internal links consistent.
This Week in the World of AI: Tools, Services, and Tips
I've put together this week's agenda focused on AI for you. It highlights critical topics exploring the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, discussions on ethical considerations, and innovative applications across various industries. Get ready for an engaging week of learning and collaboration!
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of a groundbreaking multi-modal Nova model family that will revolutionize the world of AI! These impressive models can process and produce different types of data, including text, images, and video. Nova models provide AWS customers with a powerful, versatile, and innovative toolset, allowing them to experience the technology of the future today.
OpenAI has launched its new model, described by Sam Altman as “the world’s most intelligent language model,” and its Pro package, which offers more powerful computational resources with unlimited usage limits. OpenAI’s o1 and o1-mini models are introduced as logic-oriented designs that stand out with their advanced analysis and problem-solving capabilities. So, is it worth paying $200 per month for the Pro package? I think the standard package of $20 per month will more than meet the needs of most users.
API integration with major language models (LLM) like ChatGPT is a real game changer in speeding up initial SEO actions compared to fully manual or, worse, automated processes. A great example of this in international SEO work is the Screaming Frog interface, which allows for direct translation of title tags, meta descriptions, and H1s. Should you use this output directly on your site? Of course not. However, this process allows you to pass the output to local translators to validate, edit, and localize it according to targeted queries, thus significantly simplifying the workflow.
