The SEOs Diners Club - Issue #99 -Weekly SEO Tips & News

Here are the weekly SEO insights for the SEOs Diners Club members.

Welcome to another insightful week with The SEOs Diners Club newsletter. Leveraging over a decade of SEO expertise, I aim to distill the week's most critical developments into a concise read that won't take more than seven minutes of your time. Let's dive into the insights that matter.

  • According to Google's Search Relations Officer Danny Sullivan, Google is working on new changes to combat SPAM content in search results. This development is essential in improving search results' quality and reducing SPAM content.

  • Although I do not prefer TikTok, I know those among us use this platform for their customers and themselves. I recommend the TikTok SEO guide prepared by SEO expert Aleyda Solis.

  • In response to another SEO hit piece by The Verge, Danny Sullivan, the Google Search Liaison, said author bylines and bios do not help a site or piece of content rank better. Sullivan also added Google also does not check out the credentials for ranking purposes. Based on my experience, author bylines and “Person” structure data implementation positively affect rankings in YMYL sites. So we don't have to jump on every statement Google spokespeople make.

  • Google's John Mueller answered a question about how Google treats the meta robots tag that, with an “index, follow” directive.

  • ChatGPT For Internal Linking: Chris Long from Go Fish Digital blended the Search Console and crawled data together to get a visual that shows content with high Impressions but low Inlinks.

  • After analyzing many brief templates, Samuel Schmitt compiled a good content brief template for a B2B SaaS Blog.

  • ContentShake AI is an intelligent writing tool that combines AI with real-life competitor insights. It guides you from ideation to publishing directly to the blog, generates SEO-friendly articles, and helps you optimize them for organic traffic and engagement.

  • Microsoft Clarity has recently introduced a feature called Copilot, which incorporates Generative AI through Large Language Models (LLMs) into the analytics tool. This integration aims to make data more accessible and understandable for users by leveraging the same technology created by OpenAI, which powers the new Bing or ChatGPT. Copilot in Clarity offers capabilities such as Clarity Chat, which allows you to query your Clarity project in natural language and receive concise summaries, and Session Replay Takeaways, which uses Generative AI to generate key takeaways from session replays in natural language.

  • InLinks is an SEO tool that uses a knowledge graph to optimize content for search engines. It automates internal linking and schema markup, simplifying SEO processes and content strategies.

I hope you enjoyed this week's SEOs Diners Club.
