1️⃣ Google’s September 2023 Helpful Content Update: Google has made two significant changes in how websites are ranked. The phrase "helpful content produced by humans for humans" has now been updated to "helpful content produced by humans." The shift in wording could have a long-lasting impact on SEO strategies.

2️⃣ Rich Results Visibility: Remember how Google reduced the visibility of "How-to" and "FAQ" rich results in August? Well, they just confirmed extending these changes to desktop search results too. Keep an eye on your Search Console data for traffic and CTR fluctuations!

3️⃣ Search Console Shopping Tab Updates: Google is enhancing the Shopping tab in Search Console to help sellers better optimize their product listings. With this update, site owners will receive alerts if SKUs are not eligible for the Shopping tab, and a new section will be added for missed clicks.

To take advantage of these updates, merchants must associate their Search Console property with a Merchant Center account.

4️⃣ New Google Productive Search Experience (SGE) Promotion: Google has started to display banners and location shares to introduce its new Google Productive Search Experience directly within traditional search results. This move suggests an integration of SGE into regular searches.
