Dominate Google’s ‘People Also Ask’ with AlsoAsked

Alsoasked.com is a helpful tool that can boost your visibility on Google's Search Engine Results Pages in the "People Also Ask" section.

Using the AlsoAsked.com tool, you can collect and compile search queries that appear in the "People Also Ask" section of Google results for a given country and language.

The “People Also Ask” Section in Google Results

When you search for “What is SEO” on Google.com, you can see the following in the “People Also Ask” section:

Here, with the Alsoasked.com tool, it is possible to simultaneously compile the queries on this topic. You are limited to 3 queries per day in free usage. However, I can say that it is a handy tool even in this form. It is one of our indispensable tools, especially when creating a content strategy for our customers.

It is possible to export the results after searching as an image with a .csv extension in the paid version and an image with a .png extension in the free version.

The main goal of SEO activities is always to meet the needs of users. However, given that nearly 50% of searches include “People Also Ask” (People Also Ask, or PAA) results, having a specific strategy for increasing visibility on these features is critical.

Like featured snippets, you can quickly get featured in the “People Also Ask” section. That's why building an SEO strategy based on these tactics can be valuable to beat traditional "blue link" rankings.

AlsoAsked has become a core part of our content marketing strategy in all our projects as Stradiji. It freed us from being dependent on the limited data available only by keyword tools.

It helped us to quickly realize the problems experienced by the customers of the big brands. In this way, the tool helped our customers become more aligned with their potential customers. Since using the tool, we have witnessed increased interaction in all projects.

For example, thanks to this tool, you can quickly compile FAQs to be used on the category page of an e-commerce site, and after answering them on the page, you can define them with Google's suggested FAQ structural data. This will undoubtedly increase your chances of appearing in Other Questions and trigger your potential customers' purchase journey.

You always have the opportunity to find these questions without any tools, just by doing a Google search. However, the ability to export them in less than a minute is one of the most essential advantages of the vehicle.

Finally, to prepare for the question-and-answer nature of Google's Generated Search Experience, I highly recommend that you make increasing your visibility an existential goal in Other Questions.

As Stradiji, We Are Attending Icerik Bulutu's 'SEO Agenda for July' Webinar!

As Stradiji, we are the July guest of the webinars where Content Cloud focuses on the SEO developments of that month every month.

Many people think that Stradiji is just a brand of mine. However, I cannot handle all this work alone without my valuable teammates.

As members of the Stradiji team, we will interpret the SEO developments in July for you. We'll evaluate July and discuss how we can counter the looming threats expected to inevitably reduce organic traffic to sites like Google's Productive Search Experience. We will also talk about Google Analytics 4, which was activated at the beginning of July, within the scope of SEO studies. On the other hand, we plan to talk about artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and how we can increase our productivity by using them.

We will be delighted to see you among us. You can click the link below to register:

Google Announces Whether It's Appropriate to Set Headings As Its Rewrites

Is it reasonable to match how Google rewrites title tags in SERPs? John Mueller answered this question.

Based on this situation, John Mueller answered whether Google rewrites web page title tags in search engine results pages (SERPs) in some cases and whether it would be beneficial to have Google rewrite title tags.

Google often changes the title elements and often omits the site name; naturally, this brings to mind the idea that Google might perceive the site name as unnecessary.

But Mueller noted that it might be misleading to assume that the Google rewritten version is better for SEO or users. He suggested keeping the site name in the header tag as it helps validate the site name above the header.

He also provided explanations for why Google rewrote the titles. Google often rewrites headlines when the original title doesn't adequately describe the page content or rank for a sub-topic of the page's main topic.

Mueller points out that it's not a good idea to fake Google's title rewrite because Google may be ranking the page for a subtopic.

Compile PAA Appearing in Google Results with ChatGPT Link Reader

In the fifth video of my ChatGPT Tips series, I tried compiling the questions and answers under "People Also Ask.”

I had a search for “semantic SEO” in English and “semantic SEO” in Turkish; I compared the questions and answers brought by ChatGPT with the results that appeared in the actual search results. I used the tool https://alsoasked.com/ to see the questions and answers in actual results.

You can find the video below. Subscribing to my channel lets you know about new Chat GPT Tips videos. The English version is coming soon :)

John Mueller Describes 'Programmatic SEO' as SPAM

John Mueller of Google warns of 'programmatic SEO” often used to create many specific pages, noting that Google will perceive this as potential SPAM.

Simply put, programmatic SEO is a method for increasing organic traffic by publishing landing pages on a large scale.

For example, Tripadvisor has a page for nearly every travel location, while Yelp offers a separate page for all business inquiries. This is because they use programmatic SEO techniques to reach their target audience.

John Mueller recently commented on “programmatic SEO” practices, noting that Google could perceive them as SPAM.

This comment was made in a discussion about sites using programmatic SEO to scrape and reuse data from other sites to create many specific landing pages.

While this technique can sometimes result in high rankings on Google, Mueller categorizes it as SPAM because it automatically generates content from various sources.

For example, content production based on a template using tools such as ChatGPT should not be considered within the framework of programmatic SEO studies that Google may perceive as SPAM.

While doing programmatic SEO, you can use the ChatGPT-supported Sandbox tool.

Book Of The Week: “Mindwise: Why We Misunderstand What Others Think, Believe, Feel, and Want” - Nicholas Epley

Nicholas Epley, one of the leading figures in social psychology, is trying to solve this complex puzzle of the human mind that resists unraveling.

Every day, every hour, every moment, the thoughts, feelings, desires, and beliefs of others guide our actions. It's a sneaky sixth sense that belongs to us. We are secret mind readers.

However, why do we sometimes display blindness to the minds of others and treat them as if they were objects or animals? Why do we assume, in the mirror of our feelings and thoughts, that others think, feel, or desire the same things as we do?

Moreover, why do we think that by making our spouse, family, and friends our own, we understand them better than they are?

This work, titled 'My Wisdom'’ conveys what science has to say about our minds and the mistakes we often make in this process of understanding, and it will profoundly affect how you think about others and yourself in the process.

I hope you enjoyed my weekly SEO insights. Hope to see you the following Sunday in the new episode. I wish you all a great week.

Best,

Mert Erkal
